Mixing Liquids

Our experiment today was mixing liquids.

A liquid is matter that takes the shape of the container it is in.

First we had to squeeze some oranges to get juice.

We had three liquids; lemonade, tea and orange juice.

We wrote our predictions of what we would think would happen when we mixed each liquid with milk.

 Lemonade and milk.

Most people thought lemonade would fizz.
The lemonade actually curdled!

Most people thought the orange juice would float or mix.
It curdled and the orange juice floated!

Some people thought the tea would mix like a cup of tea.

We were right!  The tea and milk mixed!
