We talked about yeast. It reacts with the sugar and makes the bread rise.
We measured the ingredients and talked about the symbols for halves 1/2 and quarters 1/4.
The bread smelled delicious! We watched it rise and get big, soft and fluffy.
We spread the butter on the bread and tasted it. Yum yum!
